Director Linda Emmanuel a.k.a. Miss Linda, enjoys sharing her love of music with children of all ages. In addition to her popular drop-in music classes at Green Planet Kids in Newton, Miss Linda is on the faculty of the Winchester Community Music School and the Concord Conservatory. She is a music specialist for preschool and daycare programs as well as a regular performer for the Boston Public Library Copley Branch sing-along series.
Linda has a Master’s degree in Dalcroze Eurhythmics from the Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA and a B. M. in Vocal Performance from New England Conservatory. Professional affiliations include; the Dalcroze Society of America, the Early Childhood Music & Movement Association and the Children’s Music Network.
Linda is the soprano soloist at the Unitarian Universalist Society of Wellesley Hills and is a regular guest soloist at synagogues and churches throughout Eastern Massachusetts. She can also be heard as one of a trio of singing rabbits on Simon & Schuster Interactive: “Richard Scarry’s Busytown Best Christmas Ever CD-Rom”
